To Love Like a Luna Moth

☽~O~☾

☽~O~☾

There is a special world for you and me
There is a special bond that none can see
Like Souls in chrysalises
It wraps us deep inside its cocoon
And holds us fiercely within its womb.

☽~O~☾

This body shines like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like strong silken thread it holds us fast
Bonds like this are meant to last.

☽~O~☾

As our Spirits morph and emerge
There will be times when a thread may break
But a new one shall form in its wake
To bind us closer as we transform To bind us together and keep us strong

In a special world, In an Eternal world, where we belong.

P.S ~ The striking Luna moth emerges from its cocoon without a mouth because its short life will be devoted entirely to Love. Although I can’t know what the now of this moth without a mouth might be, I hope they are content with how their design ensures posterity. The organ of their larval duty—Consuming every leaf in sight—Effaced for purposes of beauty that serves a different appetite. I trust they just desire to merge.
